Inkular: Artist (b) 1970

Inkular is an artist from Roanoke Virginia with a colorful following around the globe. Specializing in pen and ink drawings with a psychedelic edge, Inkular also enjoys multimedia projects including acrylic and enamel paint on canvas, wood, and even a large bus.*

*I purchased a 72 seater school bus and used about 65 cans of spray paint and multiple rolls of masking tape to create the KOSMIK BUS. It was sold to the head of a music festival (FloydFest) and now lives on as a very cool recording studio. Jack and Jorma from Hot Tuna recorded a set in my old bus.

Once I discovered "The Big Five*" San Francisco Poster Artists, who intertwined psychedelic images and lettering coupled with amazing acts of the 1960's, I was hooked and my art took me for an amazing adventure. However turned on to incredible art on an international scale as a child, it was the psychedelic 60's art, music, and culture that opened my mind, heart and soul to exciting new experiences that have changed and enhanced my life. Hats off to Bill Graham and the other wonderful folks responsible for producing amazing shows that expanded minds and musical knowledge.
